Sustainability is becoming a central part of how we operate at APG Europe. As a responsible organization, we are working to embed sustainable practices across our operations and value chain.Our groundwork around systematic monitoring of our ESG data since 2023, has enabled us to set clear strategic priorities for the years ahead, with quality and industry expertise as APG's key differentiators.Our ambition is to lead responsibly, drive innovation, and deliver long-term, sustainable value.

Sustainability strategy

In 2025, APG performed a single materiality assessment as the foundation for our sustainability strategy. This, along with employee trainings and engagement, is a solid step towards aligning our operations with global sustainability standards.Our materiality assessment evaluated sustainability topics based on their potential impact (positive or negative) on APG Europe’s business, and their significance to stakeholders. The process included sustainability trainings and three dedicated workshops with APG’s leadership to understand market developments and ESG data. Feedback sessions with key suppliers, and a company-wide poll (80% response rate) helped validate the results.

Recent highlights

Reporting and transparency

APG uses the GHG Protocol as methodology for emission accounting, answering to the demands of the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive for sustainability reporting.

What do we report?

APG Europe monitors and reports environmental data to Indutrade Group on a yearly basis.

Our environmental data includes water consumption, Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions in the categories Business travel by air, Upstream transportation, Purchased goods, and Waste, which are deemed material for us within the Indutrade business group. The social data includes, workforce diversity and inclusion metrics, employee health and safety statistics, training and development participation rates, employee turnover, and incidents related to ethics and compliance.

In addition, we report and monitor our progress in relevant key performance indicators defined by Indutrade Group and by our materiality assessment.

It sets forth the principles and guidelines that employees must follow to maintain a professional and ethical work environment. This document ensures that employees' actions and behaviors are in line with Indutrade's core values and ethical standards.
